Cast-Ons

A stretchier variation of the Long Tail or Slingshot cast-on.

A knitted cast-on worked with a crochet hook, it’s a great provisional cast-on. It can also be used as a regular cast-on, which mirrors a standard bind-off.

Good for toe-up socks. Unlike many cast-ons which create an edge, this gets you started to work a solid piece in the round without seam or edge.

Underarm provisional cast-on to use when casting on body stitches after you separate sleeves in top down sweaters so that you will have live stitches for your sleeve.
